Found: One very sweet flat with two Brits!

Much like most of our days, we woke up on Saturday morning and started looking up properties and calling to make appointments for to see flats that were already gone the minute they were posted. Earlier in the week, Emma had made an appointment to see a flat already occupied by two Brisith guys that are professionals (meaning that they are not students and have a real job). It looked a little far on the tube map and we were entirely sure if we even wanted to go, but decided to suck it up and head out. That turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made.

We got to the flat, which is 1 second from the tube, and got the grand tour from Matt and Symon. The place is actually amazing. They bought it themselves (they are 29 and Symon runs his own business which Matt works for) back in January and have been renovating it since then. It is beautiful. Way too beautiful for us to be living there. Basically the whole place is brand new and hooked up. Our rent includes everything and I am talking all the bills, even for the licence for our flat screen tv and satellite services. Unbelievable. I can't wait to move in on Tuesday so that we can take pictures to post! After us there were a series of people coming through to see the place so we basically spent the next four hours trying to occupy ourselves at Borough Market and Covent Garden until they called to let us know who they had choosen. We were bascially waiting to find out if we had made the team. Coach called - we were in.

We brought Erik and Joe to check it out to make sure that everything was legit because it really is too good to be true and they gave us the go ahead. So exciting. We are moving in on Tuesday!

In need of celebration, we headed out for dinner and a movie with the boys. Note to self: don't ever see A History of Violence. It is brutal.

Overall though, a very excellent day!

Good to see that you two found a wicked place and are starting to settle in. It sounds like an amazing time and I'm excited to see that I'll be continually updated by your blog. lol.

On another note, me being an internet searcher, I decided to see what blog was "Next" after yours. Turns out its a porn site. Seriously. I laughed out loud.

Good to know you're both doing well!

Go Flames!
