Lavandre has left the city....
and two VERY tired girls.
I can give a full weekend update later with pics, but for now I will just tell you about last night at circa 930 pm GMT. Andre is a big Pats fan so we searched high and low for a pub or bar that would be showing the football game at 130 am. Keep in mind most places here close at midnight. We found one called The Sports Cafe in Piccadilly that was known for being open late for American and Canadian sports fans. HOW DID WE NOT KNOW THIS????? It was two stories, 100 tvs, and packed with Americans chanting for their respective teams. We couldn't find a seat anywhere but were surrounded by 30 plus HDTV screens so we stood and watched the Seattle vs Washington game. At around midnight our feet were getting pretty tired so we sweet talked some Pats fan to get us seats for the next game.
Once we were sitting it was magic. Pounded a few Cokes to stay awake and watched Brady and his team ...uhhh...lose. Which was disappointing but still fun. By the end of the night we were basically best friends with everyone. So we left the bar (which was still serving alcohol...which is unheard of in London) just after 4am.
By the time we got home the Coca-Cola had not worn off so we hung out for a bit longer...til say...hmmm...7 am. Just a guess.
So - mommy's tired. Mommy needs a nap.
I now am offically cheering for the Colts in case any one cared. We'll get 'em next year Tommy!!!

What a find that sports bar is. Now both cuties are gone! What to do? Perhaps there is another one I just wasn't aware of. Will check the papers and report back.
Forgot to mention we had wings. They were awful but they were still wings.
Alberta Bound - Hasselbeck may not be as cute as Manning and Brady, but he def. has some mad skills. Think about it.
Best game was Indy/Steelers. Minutes to go and Bettis fumbles. How about Ben Rothlessbergerferness. Best tackle ever by a QB! BUT I kind of wanted Indy to win. OH well maybe if they change their uniforms and nix the baby blue they will do better. Cheers for now.
