Been a nice couple of days.
Wednesday night we got free tickets to Elzabethtown as a wrap-up offer to the London Film Festival. The movie was great. I think that Emma summed it up best by noting that it is very much like In Good Company meets Garden State. Very 20 something, self-exploration type film. We highly recommend it.
Today was a very random, but exciting day. Started off with a trip to the Imperial War Museum which was top-notch. From there we were headed to a restaurant in Chinatown, but got a call from Scuba who was down the road in Picadelly Circus. We stopped by for a quick visit with him and his parents and then went back to Chinatown for dinner at Wong Kei. Famous for having service comparable to the 'Soup Nazu' from Seinfeld, we were surprised that they were not too mean and the food was great. Next stop on the adventure was to meet Erik (Riky) and had a few pints with him and some of his friends. One of the bars we were at faced the stage door for the 'Billy Elliot' show and we are happy to report that yes, we did see the kid that plays Billy surrounded by a mob of young girls.
Tomorrow afternoon we are headed to Brighton and then to Lewes for Guy Fawkes Celebrations. Remember, remember the 5th of November.
We finally have internet at home, but are having some trouble configuring the system... hopefully we will have it sorted out very soon!
