Fringe Update #1
Well I arrived in Edinburgh on Monday and have been living in a 3 bedroom flat with 7 people - all Future Memory! We spend the days tweaking the show in teh garden and on the Royal Mile (the Fringe street) with our aluminum cube and handing out flyers. We discovered that if you hold a freeze pose that people want your flyers and look at them. It is very rewarding to hear people you don't know say "Ohhh...Girl in Box"....
Tonight is our dress rehearsal and tomorrow and Saturday are our preview nights. The show starts at 10pm at CVenues Central. Saturday night Brody (my fellow Canadian cast mate) and I are venturing into ur first stand up comedy gig. It's liek American idol. There are 8 acts that go on for 15 minutes and the audeince votes their favorite. Im just hoping we don't get booed!!!!
Kelly, Gord,Ish, Darb and Bart all come tomorrow and are coming to Preview on Saturday! I am very excited!

We are home and getting unpacked so that we can repack for Banff. We had a most wonderful time in Edinburgh. The highlight was Girl In Box. We consider ourselves to be theatre goers. We have seen alot. We were blown away!!!! It was provocative, well conceived, eery, funny, scary and sad. Emma's role was complex. She had Mae West, Marilyn and some Joel Gray from Cabaret in her. The other actors were amazing and the whole thing worked. A great success. Will describe more at the wedding. Too tired to talk now. Thanks Emm for a great weekend.
